Check out my favourite things in the world of Anna Lou this week and the things dropping below the office gossip mill... Going up: Sue Sylvester: The UK has gone Glee (E4, Mondays) crazy. Though let?s face it ? anything that was going to combine the sunshine-y goodness of High School Musical, with the ?who?s the baby daddy?? drama of a daytime American soap and the adorable outfits of an Obsessive Compulsive Student Councillor ?was going to be a hit.

Yesterday I headed down to The Troubadour for brunch to meet my old friend and singer Cassie. I normally go to The Troubadour to watch her gigs, but as we are both pregnant we thought a bacon n? egg butty and apple juice would be more suitable than bottles of Becks! The Troubadour is one of my favourite places in London day or night.

When I heard that leading fashion magazine, Sketchbook was popping up in Carnaby I knew I had to save the date in my diary. Launching tomorrow, for just three weeks, The Sketchbook Pop-Up Shop will be host to an array of exciting workshops and lectures to help creative folks in some need of inspiration! .

Today brings us the opening of the worlds first entirely edible art exhibition in London, aptly named; Cake Britain! On reading about this i did in fact think that my eyes were deceiving me!             

With it being Mid August already I can’t help but think what on earth happened to our summer?? The sun (...excluding yesterday) seems all but a distant memory encouraging thoughts of what my first autumn jacket will be are already approaching...
