Ooo la la! Candles have been burnt at every end but we've managed to get through Paris Fashion Week. We're at The Box show on Rue Cambon meeting all our customers. A lot of which have come from Japan to see us here.

Now back from Paris Fashion Week, I am already beginning to miss my European foodie treats. So, I?m going to take a trip to one of my new favourite places to sample some continental cuisine. The French House in Soho?s, on Dean Street (just off Shaftesbury Avenue) is a perfect start.

The whole country has gone Alice in Wonderland mad; especially now that Tim Burton?s masterpiece is showing at cinema?s worldwide. Anna Lou has beem holding pride of place in Selfridges? Wonder Room on London?s famous Oxford Street.

Just like the entrepreneurs did in the 60s, I?m giving it a go in trend setting Carnaby Street! It?s great having my shop there. Carnaby Street remains one of London?s best know shopping destinations 50 years on. It put British creativity on the map and still remains fascinating.

According to the calendar, it?s spring ? but it?s quite hard to believe when we?re still swaddled in our scarves, hats and gloves. COLD WEATHER PLEASE GO AWAY.  To get by, we?re dreaming of all our favourite things when it?s spring time and the days get longer and the sun gets brighter, bringing that sweet promise of summer.

Why is it that some 7 years after Sienna Miller brought them to the world?s fashion stage that women aged from 12 to 60 still insist on wearing these ugly boots? Famous for being accessible to the most chic and the most chav, the UGG boot has the ability to turn the most delicately dressed woman into some heavy-footed impersonation of an Eskimo! Whatever the weather if you walk down any high street in London you are guaranteed to see them everywhere.

If there were more men walking around Carnaby Street like the devilishly handsome Michael Caine, I may be tempted to keep my shop open 24/7!

A girl can dream and with that in mind I have come up with an ultimate wish-list of things I would love to buy this month. If only money were no object I would be hailing a taxi to the nearest high street right away. Feel free to purchase any one of these lovelies for me and you?ll be my BFFL (best friend for life!).

Last week was a week of full of activity I hardly stopped. It started with London Fashion Week for the shows and exhibitions. I called in to see the Eley Kishimoto exhibition on Kingly Street, his showroom is just outside my office so I didn?t have to go far!

According to an article I read yesterday in The Guardian, British ladies (and lady-impersonators .. hi boys!) are putting more lip-gloss in their shopping basket than lipstick.  I think it?s a bit of a shame.  Like the late and great Marilyn Monroe and Isabella Blow, I?m a die hard lipstick fan and love to wear bright pinks, corals and firetruck reds when dancing at the disco.

Let?s be honest not many people can pull off double denim. Who could forget Justin and Britney?s double denim disaster?! But the fashion pack now thinks it?s time to roll out this trend again ? god help us...

What is with people wearing trainers and tights nowadays? My usual tube journey is being disrupted by the horror of seeing people wearing trainers with their business suit. This has to be the biggest fashion faux pas known to man, and I find myself staring at these poor individuals with such pity, as clearly no one has introduced them to ballet flats.

Yesterday I headed down to The Troubadour for brunch to meet my old friend and singer Cassie. I normally go to The Troubadour to watch her gigs, but as we are both pregnant we thought a bacon n? egg butty and apple juice would be more suitable than bottles of Becks! The Troubadour is one of my favourite places in London day or night.

The other day I whipped up a heart-breaking dish thanks to an inspirational recipe from gorgeous cook Gizzi Erskine.  I have always been obsessed with Beef Wellington, but the stress of over-cooking or undercooking a very expensive fillet of beef breaks me out in hives.

Launching tomorrow, for just three weeks, The Sketchbook Pop-Up Shop will be host to an array of exciting workshops and lectures to help creative folks in some need of inspiration! .
